Google My Business combines Google+ Local and Google Places. The Android app is out and the IOS app is coming soon.
The front end experience for clients should remain pretty much the same but Google My Business has been released to make it easier for business owners to manage the information about their business and to post updates & news to Google+, respond to reviews and see statistics about how people are interacting with their business online.
