ELC Lamps Online Ltd
Michael the owner of ELC ltd a specialist lamp stockist based in Cheam Village came to us with a tired old e-commerce site that was in desperate need of an update. First we re-built the site using the WordPress and WooCommerce systems, including a new responsive design that would look great and be easily navigated on mobiles and tablets. We then created key product category pages and optimised them to rank well in the Google search results. A product data feed was added to upload the products to Michael’s Google Merchant Centre and allow them to display as Google Ads, this has helped generate many extra sales. We also setup a bulk discount plugin to allow discounts on bulk product orders. We are continuing to work with Michael to optimise each of his products to rank at the top of the organic Google search results and have already seen good results.
What We Did
This site was built using the popular WordPress content management system, giving the client the ability to update and add content.
Search Engine Optimisation
We optimised the Weldfix website for ‘mobile welders london’ and ‘welder in london’. The website ranks at the top of the first page of the Google search results for both these search terms.
A Google Adwords pay per click campaign was setup to get Wellcare a top listing in the Google search results for target keywords. As a result the advertising campaign drives a steady stream of traffic to the website were it is converted into paying customers.
Drag & Drop Page Builder
We included the industry leading drag & drop page builder which allows the client to quickly update the pages on their website and also build new professional looking pages with very little technical knowledge required.
The popular WooCommerce system was integrated with WordPress to provide e-commerce functionality. The client is able to manage the store admin, edit and add new products.
Product Data Feed
A product data feed system was added to upload the product information to the Google Merchant Centre, allowing the products to display as Google Ads.
A bulk discount system was added to allow discounts on bulk products orders.
Mobile Responsive Design
A mobile responsive design was used to allow the new site to be easily navigated and browsed on mobile, tablets and desktops.
Google Analytics tracking was setup to allow the client to analyse the visitor activity on their site. They can see detailed information including how many people have visited the site, where they are visiting from and what keywords they typed into Google to find their website.
This site uses data capture to build a database of potential customer email addresses. They can then be marketed to later using an email marketing system.
What the client said
“I needed to update my old e-commerce shop which I use to sell lamps online. After speaking to Matt & Murray we decided to convert my old site to WordPress and WooCommerce to make it work better on mobiles and allow me to better manage my orders and products. The process from start to finish was great, they took everything in hand to make sure the transition was as smooth as possible and gave my site a new look which really makes me stand out from my competitors. They are quick to respond to my questions (even at the weekends) and helped me to better position and market my business. I would recommend Indigo Marmoset to any local business looking for a reliable and responsive web designer who care about the success of their clients.”Michael Hawkes
