L.A. Surfacing

Luke and Jade from L.A. Surfacing already had a Checkatrade page which was getting them a few enquiries but they needed to up their game with a professional online presence that would help keep their books full.

Our copywriter took a thorough brief then wrote sales copy for each of their services. Using this copy we built a website using their project photography and customer testimonials to create strong sales pages.

An Adwords campaign was then setup to send traffic to these sales page where they can be converted into leads.

The new site is now delivering a steady stream of new customers, based on these results they are now looking to open a second business.

Quality Seal Package

This site was built using our Quality Seal web design package and included some of our extra bolt-ons such as professional copywriting and an Adwords campaign to drive traffic to the site.

We were supplied with the logo and images which we used to design a series of service pages explaining how L.A. Surfacing can improve your outdoor space.

Professional Copywriter

After a thorough brief and research, service pages were written which reflected the technical quality of the craftsmanship and care offered by Luke. This was a client with consistent and exceptional testimonials which made teasing out benefits and selling points a lot easier.

In terms of the key proposition, we focused on the simplicity of a client focused, individual, personal service as this company only takes on one job at a time, giving each client their full attention without any distractions or outsourcing.


In addition to the website we designed an advert for local press to help promote the business.


This site was built using the popular WordPress content management system, giving the client the ability to update and add content.

Search Engine Optimisation

We did the on-page optimisation for the website which is now ranking surprisingly well (considering no off-page has been done and they didn’t want a Google Business listing) in the Google organic results for localised searches related to the key services they offer.

Google Adwords

A Google Adwords pay per click campaign was setup to get L.A. Surfacing a top listing in the Google search results for target keywords. As a result the advertising campaign drives a steady stream of traffic to the website were it is converted into paying customers.

Drag & Drop Page Builder

We included the industry leading drag & drop page builder which allows the client to quickly update the pages on their website and also build new professional looking pages with very little technical knowledge required.

Portfolio System

A portfolio system was added to the site which allows the client’s portfolio of completed jobs to be easily added, managed and appear consistent throughout the site wherever they are viewed.

Mobile Responsive Design

A mobile responsive design was used to allow the new site to be easily navigated and browsed on mobile, tablets and desktops.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics tracking was setup to allow the client to analyse the visitor activity on their site. They can see detailed information including how many people have visited the site, where they are visiting from and what keywords they typed into Google to find their website.
